Our curriculum focuses around the six learning skills. These are :
Captain Teamwork (Teamwork skill )
Communikate(communication skill)
Professor Thought Shower ( Problem solving skill)
The thinking twins ( Critical and creative thinking)
From starting school in F2 children will be introduced to these characters and then as they move through each year group they will be expected to discuss which skill they have used and how they have used this in their learning. The children really enjoy learning about the characters and the 'learning world' they they live in. By using these skillls we have seen a great improvement in the children's ability to discuss their learning and the skills they have employed to complete activities.
